George, please lets not get rediculous! The last thing I would do is call someone on this thread a liar. I respect your thoughts and opinions like everyone else's on this thread. I think that an exchange of thoughts and ideas on the NWT diamond play should be encouraged and respected. Why would MPV be concerned with "Trumping" winspear's reporting style? That type of comment does not make sense. I believe that MPV would be delighted to see winspear hit "paydirt". It would just serve to validate the entire area as being highly prospective. Secondly, the program is now being run by "Debeers" and not "Canamera", therefore the reporting of results can definitely be trusted. Also, Mr. Vandersande is reporting results which must be verified by Debeers, so when he says 50 million tons and 30% gem quality, then why should I not trust him? Lastly, as you are aware, all diamond deposits will have a mixture of good and bad stones. This is normal. Yes, I will agree that fancy diamonds are very valuable, but rarely is a mine developed for its fancy diamond content. What generally makes a diamond deposit valuable is large stones and high quality clear white diamonds. Finally, I am not basing my faith on the MPV/Debeers project on Kaiser's words or anyone else for that matter. I am basing my optimism on the facts as they are presented and the facts are beginning to speak volumes. No offence intended. Be "NICE NOW."
