I remember maybe 10-15 years ago I wanted to build a computer based DVR and did a lot of research and in the end I bought a TiVo unit for a few hundred dollars and I pay an annual fee for the programming guide. Why? Because in the end it just works out of the box and looking back wasn't worth the hassles to get it to work. As I get older I am tired of hassling with various configurations and wiring etc. It is like changing my own oil or headlines, tires etc. I would rather pay someone to do it for me these days I sound like an old man lol!!!
