Brian. Fairness in Texas. I am from Texas. They are pretty fair there, maybe not as much after I left. gg. Business can thrive and Oprah got in trouble because she supposedly hurt the cattle Ranchers with the hamburger scare.
Gov Bush is pretty much business oriented. Check out though who the Attorney General is. ;)
I think Msft got in trouble with the Govt. before the States got involved.
With the Tobacco industry? Where did that get started? One of the Democrats in the Congress? Did not take long before the States got involved then. Follow the leader on getting some extra revenues. It's not like they are outlawing tobacco. It used to be indiv. suits like in anything else but now big money making stuff. Not as much for the hurt parties than for the Govt. and States collecting extra bucks from business.
