I thought oil would be at least $60 bbl by inauguration. A high oil price has a lot of spin for the economy, Arab countries buy jet fighters, yachts, build sky scrapers and indoor ski hills. If technology keeps advancing Big Oil will be out of business in 10-20 years, right now is their last kick at the can. They’ve successfully killed Keystone, Alberta oil sands and Venezuela production, all Biden needs to do is over-regulate domestic producers.
