Maybe it's because the volume is so low. There's always a certain amount of forced selling in any stock (death, taxes, etc.). But there's no forced buying (unless the shorts get squeezed).
Right now, it looks like all the believers are already in the stock. The nonbelievers are waiting on the sidelines with money ready to get in as soon as the products to appear. Most mutual funds won't touch the stock because the volume is too low.
REFR has built it. They will come.

Peter,

There has been shorting recently in the stock. This would not show up in the current figures. The shorts are smart and hitting on days of low volume and little interest. One day they accounted for 2/3 of the volume. for that morning.

They do have to buy back the stock. Looking at today's move up on not too heavy volume---can you imagine the jump in price when the shorts start to buy back over 1/2 million shares?
