Congrats to everyone who has been on board the mammoth TSLA trade with us. It may prove to be the greatest call ever seen on this or any thread on SI. The trade began on the long side here, on Jan 3rd, with the stock at $705 Message 33164825 The post gave the precise topping target of $890.57 weeks ahead of it being met. Once it was met, a reminder was sent out here.... Message 33162797 ...that it was time to bring out the harpoons to take this whale down. The stock spent about an hour total "flying" above 890.57 before submerging back into the waters below. The stock made one final run at the 890.57 target, and a final post was given here Message 32581310 stating time had run out and the stock would be meeting its fate the harpooners had envisioned. I'd rather not have to be the one to point these things out, but until SI gets in gear and fashions a way to recognize those who can truly help other investors improve their returns, which would also help this stagnating site revive, it's just a necessary evil that I will try to keep to a bare minimum. In any case, it should now be painfully obvious to interested readers why I was able to lead the world in risk adjusted returns as a fund manager from '01-'03, as detailed here... Message 32581310 Experience and an expanded toolset make me far more capable today than then.
