Let me get it straight, you have stated that 90 to 95% of daytraders fail. 90% probability of failure sounds like a very risky business. If someone tells me that 9 out 10 businesses fail, I would look elsewhere. If you feel that you are blessed with a tickle in your belly that allows you to suceed then you are one of the blessed ones.

Perhaps my point was mistaken. I do a lot of day trading...I am simply suggesting that those who simply pursue daytrading with 100% of their assets, without allocating a portion to longer term, less active trading and more investing, are missing out. With the market at record levels, it would be hard to imagine that a long term component would not have contributed to the recent record run.
