the Napoleons en.wikipedia.org arrived this day, they are the euro before there was euro

they are not really collectables in any numismatic sense, but certain okay as hand-warmers in a gold sense

Napoleon had refused to print paper money and so the French defeat at Waterloo did not involve subsequent mass / communal suffering by way of paper money inflation

There are still plenty of Napoleon rooster coins in France, Franco Europe, and near-Franco Europe, and now a starter set to encourage the Jack to delve into history and allow the Coconut to sense the power of gold. The Napoleons are much like old silver coins in USA and Mexico and China and (?) India.
