Hi Stanley, Welcome to the thread. Your question is an interesting one. My opinion is that the major mining companies are already aware of what is going on in the DDs. If a company makes a major production move and proves the value of their processes by good chemical engineering practices, I do not think the big guy will buy. Some of these companies have hundreds to thousands of company geologists, engineers and petrologists. Many are assigned to prospecting. The whole world available to prospect. Why would they want to buy yours when their professional egos will think that if one company found that one, surely they can go out and find better ones without current ownership involved. If I was managing a mining company and decided to get into the DDs, that is what I would do. None of the DDs have done all of the process engineering that has to be done by major company specifications. They will save no time in buying your piece of the desert. For them it would be like starting from scratch anyway. However, they might come out the look at what you have just to snoop around a bit. No, that success story of the charming prince kissing the miner isn't real. To the miner it is a fairy tale that goes like this. I have a deposit like many other DDs have. I have this wonderful process that makes my deposit worth millions or billions. So the Gold King will give me the millions or billions and I won't ever have to work again. Mines are made by hard work and well managed investment money. Inviting the Gold King into your private domain, full of potential, is to possibly feed a frenzy that will bring in competition the small sleeping princess miner cannot survive. The successful mining company will start production, increase production, get major financing support and become a major. There are no fairy tales in this business. At least that is my opinion. mike
