You are clearly ignorant of the law and the history of impeachment. Belknap was clearly guilty, but wasn't convicted because a large group of senators felt the trial was illegal. Their precedent was Bount, where the senate ruled it did not have jurisdiction.

Again, I suggest you learn rather than spout nonsense and dem talking points.
