Republicans don't have the balls to hold their idiots accountable. Just as they couldn't hold Bush accountable for his WMDs lies or his war crimes or Reagan responsible for lying about balancing the budget. That seems to be at the crux of the matter. Republicanism seems to be a work your way up, authority, respect for elders of the party. I associate that type with rote learning. That is a type of person with goals to climb the ladder, not the person who thinks objectively with an analytic mind. Rather memorizes and networks with those that can further their ambition. Not all the GOP fits this description. There are some honest folks in the GOP, but willing to stand back up to a point, (Mitch for example asshole hypocrite, but avoids perjury), while the fanatic morons who think they are Republicans go ape shit. Now that Trump has split the party any Repub with a semblance of honesty must consider the Democratic party, at least till the fanatics self destruct if ever.
