I started on SI as a trader and found these threads by accident. I post on three threads here and I can say over the last 20 years on SI, I have learned as much here as I ever did in college. The dialogue keeps me sharp and informed and a chance to practice my thinking with a bunch of smart people. On this thread there are a lot of smart informed people all of whom keep tabs on everything from politics to Metaphysics to science. When I was in Alaska working for the state, I would get called up to the Hill (yes, we have a hill too-lol), by some dirt bag Republican congress person and they would entertain themselves grilling me. They hated alcohol and drug programs or any social services for that matter. For 20 years I fought in blood in the streets hand to hand combat with the Republicans who hated social programs and were so dishonest many were indicted for bribery. Anyway, I have followed the decisions and behavior of the supreme court all my life, and the Republicans, and my opinions emanate from that. I hope you stick around. Cheers
