Expect the volatility to continue, as the more WS targets the Hoodies and the CrowdSourcing traders, the more likely the backlash, as the David vs. Goliath theme gains even more traction.

Payback is a bitch, as the saying goes and the fact that hedge funds and high speed traders have scalped the small investor for many years, it's somewhat satisfying to know that they are getting some pay back.

Looking at the SOX, it was down almost 9% from the recent high but when put into the context of a 50% gain since September, it may look like a scary drop due to the speed but it only seems a natural pause in the run.

At this point it could just be simple profit taking in winners that have run throughout the semiconductor and semi-equipment stocks. But it's unusual to see stocks beating estimates and raising guidance and still falling on those reports.

Regardless of the reason that kind of action is typical of an impending market top.

We need to keep an eye on this sector. If it isn't leading the market higher the entire market will eventually fall.

Just my two cents.

I have said enough on the subject.
