Actually, I do believe I'm more respectful of the constitution than Raskin at this point in his career. As a Democrat congressman, he is blinded by partisan politics and routinely violates provisions of the constitution.

As for insurrection, it is defined in law as a rebellion against the authority or laws of the government. There are degrees of such rebellion -- such as protests, boycotts and certain forms of civil disobedience -- that do not rise to a level of a prosecutable offense. Some of the so-called peaceful protests by BLM fall in this category. OTOH, the riots and federal building occupations incited by BLM and Antifa were crimes that should have been prosecuted.

I believe a portion of the occupation of the Capitol building by protesters was illegal and those who entered the building without being invited in should face the appropriate punishment.
