So what do this hedgie uber short sellers do with the money that gets put into their accounts?

Do they not invest in those stocks that are trending higher?

So.. if shorts might be getting scared and covering some of their positions wouldn't that mean they might have to use their long positions as a source of funds, requiring them to sell those?

Just pondering..

Look at the market this way. Prior to the virus, GDP grew about $2 trillion under Trump and the debt grew $6 trillion. We haven't had capitalism in a very long time and we most likely never will.
