Are you assuming the problem is politicians? If so I disagree. They didn't get in office by themselves. Voters put them in office and kept them in office after they exploded the debt. Voters want free money so voters get free money. How did we get to this point? I'd suggest one of our parties decided to never raise taxes and always cut them and then imagine they were somehow doing the right thing. It doesn't make any sense of course but it doesn't have to. On the brighter side, SWKS and MSFT are still up after their earnings reports. Not many others can say that.
