Okay, let's look at the numbers and you'll see what I'm talking about.

GDP peaked in the fourth quarter of 2019 (the recession began Q121).

From Q1 17 to Q4 20 GDP grew about a little over $2 trillion. The debt grew by $6 trillion. In other words, there wasn't a single penny of growth under Trump. Every penny was government debt. It's hard to imagine what would have happened without massive debt.

This is not opinion. This is basic fact.
