There seems to be one reset during almost each of our earnings season. This one is no different. The big daddy was Q4 2018 (one year after taxes were cut) when all the indexes fell for the year but the Fed did two things; 1) it lowered its balance sheet and 2) he raised interest rates.

Today, the Fed balance sheet is $3 trillion higher than it was at the end of 2018 and interest rates are dead in the water.
