Yousef, almost anyone would admit Intel is a superior company to AMD. that my friend is a given. However your notion that AMD is so inferior as to be on the verge of bankrupcy is irresponsible. Here is a simple locgic test for you. Do you beleive the world will stop buying chips? does amd make chips? As long as AMD can make chips at some level they will survive. They may have to adjust to a lower level, or change their cost structure, but they will not be driven out of business. Not by Intel, not by they incompetence. They could operate under the protection of bankrupcy for years before emerging stronger than before. two speeds behind is not bad for a two-bite, silicon slinging, price bashing competitor. Who has forced intel to canabolize a full years Pentium profits. accererate price cuts cuts its margins to compete. Forced Intels R&D spending acceleration to produce an unproven Merced chip technology that Intel does not know if it can produce! Have a nice day comtemplating how to rewire(debug) you logic circuts.
