Yeah, I wasn't proposing HOW!

But I have some ideas that I have expressed before. The Dems need to constantly amplify the fact that those most opposed to abortion and that claim life starts at conception, are in fact some of the worst offenders at creating zygotes that are doomed to die, because they don't believe in birth control as a woman slides into and through her 40's. There is an equivalency between this and the morning after (or other very early methods of abortion) pill. Dems need to say: "If you want to ban early apportions, i.e. allow the Gov into your neighbors bedroom, then the Gov is also going to coming into your conservative Christian bedroom and make you behave as well".

Let them chew on that one for awhile...

As with basic civil rights, we have to make our stand on women's reproductive healthcare. The Republicans just move the bar wherever they can, and create a new false equivalency around the new baseline which is actually an extremist position.

What we have today is compromise, state-to-state. And the use of demagoguing and fear over reason.

There is really very little room left to give them so they can save their precious political face.

Unlike reasonable gun regulation for example, where there is is more "middle ground" TBD in courts and legislatively.

I'd hate to see dems cave on abortion- but it would be nice to rope in the single issue voters. But it sure would be a pisser to sacrifice a woman's right to govern her own body over that.

The scariest thing about banning abortions is that the births that result are unwanted and resented. These are the babies most likely to grow up into broken personalities with tragic results for them and for society as a whole. Every new person in this world should be wanted and nurtured and not just existing because their mother couldn't stop it.
