John Carragher,

By Trump not invoking his 2018 EO, he lost his best chance to set the election straight and root out the corruption in the political system and protect his supporters from the left. Trump said he would protect us, but he can't from his ex presidential position now.

Going about this by trying to change the GOP is a fools game.

I know everyone says a 3rd Party will not work due to splitting the conservative vote, but at some point it become a fools game to continue to vote in Republicans and expect something different to come of it. This has not worked for over 30 years now.

en.wikipedia.org

What we need is Patriot Party political candidates for the City, County, State and Federal levels and judges for all of the same.

Regards,
LG

I don't criticize Trump much. I think he did about all he can do. But he was mistaken about the GOP. Trump thought they didn't know how to win. He didn't understand that the GOP doesn't want to win. They have been trying to permanently end themselves for a long time. That is indisputable based on the GOP trying to give amnesty to 20 million illegal aliens.

I think the GOP came to this viewpoint when the left conquered the institutions in the 1960s. They decided to stop trying to win and just position themselves as a polite opposition party and make money from that position.

Nixon showed they could still win (biggest landslide in history). The GOP didn't care and they joined the Dems in driving him out. They tried to slip Bush into the White House in 1980, but Reagan got in the way. Reagan showed they could win (even bigger landslide), but they didn't care. They just bided their time and then installed the weak loser Bush to diffuse Reagan's patriotic excitement. Trump showed they could win, but again they didn't care. They undermined his agenda at every turn and stood down as Trump was cheated out of his second term.
