Richard: you remind me very much of another TA'er that I know. We constantly debated trading topics endlessly, well almost endlessly. We stopped to enjoy some fine (very old) rye. Soon after the the global
currency crisis of 94' took hold and the market cleaned his clock.

Thankfully he returned stronger than ever, Position Trading a junior oil and gas play for about 1000%. Never say never.

Richard, unfortunately, stupidity is one of nessacery quolity of a daytrader. He/she has to forget about own ego for 6.5 hours a day.
And the main problem occures when daytrader knows for sure what will
happen next minute, hour or two. This kind of people are not able to
be wrong and every movement of the market in the "wrong" direction is a challenge for their intelligence. Daytrading is a huge emotinal pressure and not everybody is able to take it.
Business termination happens for different reasons and failure is not main of them.
Michael.
