Hi Jesse,

From ACA's THIRD QUARTERLY REPORT for the nine months ended Sept.30/97
as reported to SEDAR :

...... in part

<<< Results of further core drilling on and around K-14 indicate that the feature may comprise an extensive thick apron of kimberlite surrounding a central zone open to depth, with the entire complex measuring about 400 metres in diameter. By this interpretation the kimberlites designated K-14B and K-14C may be part of the larger complex rather than separate bodies. If adequate value should prove to be present, such an extensive, near-surface zone could be readily and efficiently mined in a large open pit. >>>

The last sentence in particular, from the paragraph above, from the President's Message, in part, sounds to be a very optimistically forward-looking statement, IMHO. ...... anyone else have an opinion here ? !

At the last Vancouver Mining Conference, in the evening presentation by diamond companies; Mr Austin made a detailed slide
presentation of the K14 complex with a similar explanation as the report above. He did stress that there is still not enough data to
determine the economics of their Alberta project.

I'm looking forward to their next news release !

Cheers,

Gord.

HK market at 2230 est up over 11%..should be positive Mon AM at home... I suspect an active week for ACA is ahead. The next annoucement is an extremely important one and as Frank has suggested will potentially set the tone for many months. I will be very surprised if a bulk sample is not in the works - without it we could languish below $5.00 irrespective of new drilling plans..Regards DJ.
