The Trader's Tax Survival Guide

It teaches you how to declare yourself "TRADER STATUS" so that you can list equipment (computer, phone lines, cable tv, software, level 2, graphing software),newsletters and even travel as expenses/deductions.

Your first have to PROVE you are a trader by having
real time data feeds, Level II, making executions,
graphing software, ect. Trader Status is not meant for
the occasional internet trader. You have to show sufficient
expenses to prove you are serious at your business.

In past years, I've just been eating the cost. Things maybe
changing! I WOULD LIKE TO HEAR FROM OTHERS who have declared
themselves "Trader Status" and how the IRS responded.

Thanks for bringing this up. Its an appropriate time of year
to be thinking along these lines, and to prepare yourself
business wise for other years.
