Ever had a bone spur?
I believe I did, though I never went to a medical professional for a diagnosis. On the bottom of my heel, very painful. Didn't last more than a week. Went away of it's own accord, many years ago.

I play tennis so my feet take a pounding. Jell inserts have helped. I'm 75 ...

They are really not bone spurs but rather an inflammation of ligament connection to the heel bone....

Technically is called "plantar fasciitis" I've had it several times until I found the fix...custom orthotics..
