Anyway, I imagine Pelosi got her number from them. So, that just magically becomes the correct number? You think there is no propaganda going on here? Where are these 140? What were the injuries? How many required medical care? Of course, no one thinks their union would lie (yet another example of why there should be no public sector unions). >> Are you suggesting that none of those who entered the Capitol were Trump supporters? If you are, there's this proverbial bridge for sale... What I'm suggesting is that I don't know, but neither do you. Because there has been no open investigation. I'm also suggesting that Trump had less than zero to do with their being there. He was abundantly clear in his speech that people should peacefully protest. It stops there. You can't infer some kind of order to riot out of that. Certainly, Ashli was a Trump supporter, and she was an angry one. Justifiably so, imo. But that doesn't suggest a justification for her being brutally gunned down by a cop who clearly was not adequately trained or was acting outside the reasonable bounds of his assigned task. He needs to be tried. But we need to know was he ordered by Pelosi to shoot someone to make an example? By what orders did he kill her? Do these people routinely walk around with the authority to just shoot someone who is the wrong place within the Capitol complex at a given time? Why did this happen? When we discuss the "Rule of Law", this is a really important aspect of it: Truth. And we appear to not be getting a lot of truth about the events of that day. What I see and hear is a great deal of innuendo that is unsupported by those bits of truth that do escape from the Capitol. The AOC video of yesterday is an example, where she goes on youtube and puts on an acting display worthy of Elizabeth Taylor and some people take it as "truth". It is fair to say a guy sneaking into Pelosi's office with a buffalo head on is not part of any legitimate pro-trump protest movement. That guy doesn't represent Trump in any way, shape or form. The idea that Democrats would just pin that on Trump is ridiculous. Well, Democrats + Cheney lol. >> Are you suggesting that none of those who entered the Capitol were Trump supporters? Neither you, nor I, knows who was who in that environment. There were certainly people present who were not Trump supporters, and whose roles were simply as agitators. Ashli Babbett was not one of them: She was a legitimate Trump supporter, protesting the stealing of the election, as she should have been. The question here is whether you, looking at the available video, can say, "Yeah, that was acceptable to kill her." Essentially, for jumping, unarmed, with no evidence of ill intent, into a broken window. No warning. No weapons or other threatening items. Nothing. I think we're going to need to get to the bottom of this and see the truth exposed. At that point, sides can be taken. It looks like bloody murder to me.
