>> You still don't get the notion of the cop shooting at the mob, not at the individual who happened to be the leading edge of the mob. It was the mob, not Ashli Babbitt, that needed to be stopped.

I do not get that. Because it is not a combat scenario where you just start mowing people down. This shot was directed at one person, who was not particularly aggressive and was certainly not a threat to anyone.

No matter what the mob consisted of, until they are a legitimate threat to someone it is not okay to just start shooting.

>> Have you considered how that cop could have stopped the mob had it breached that door?

That cop was well positioned to get anyone who came through the door/window instantly if he chose. But he wasn't the only there. That room was full of armed cops, some much farther away. There was no evidence a single one of these individuals were armed, and there a half dozen heavily armed guards out in the hallway with them who had, only seconds before, been blocking entrance and inexplicably walked down a flight of stairs where the were when she was killed.

One of my most burning questions is why, if they were perceived as a potential danger, would the heavily armed cops who were on that landing walk away ten seconds before the shooting? Actually "shrugging" their shoulders as they walked away? Was there no communication between them and the shooter who was hidden to Ashli's left?

>> The mob was a witting or unwitting tool in what was the last gasp of an attempted coup.

LOL. So, this largely peaceful protest was a coup but the four years of falsely predicated investigations, lies and two impeachments with zero supporting evidence (the second so bad that the Chief Justice refused to participate) of a sitting president with zero cause, that's not a coup.

Got it.
