Good article, thanks.

However, I may be afraid that the soon msft reach 160, it become overbought and pullback would eventually happen, anybody could use any excuse from re-flamed asia flu, clinton scandal or middle east crisis to dump msft.

I think Salomon or other brokerage indicate MSFT target price is 162 for this year regardless of DOJ lawsuit.

Looks like we crossed that $153 mark that you had and MSFT did not need any help from CSCO <ggg>.

Go MSFT

I agree. The split is driving price, predominantly based on past
experience of price increase before and after split. However, I
suspect the market will now anticipate this price rise this time,
and that rather than see any significant increase after split, we
will see a stall in price just prior to split, and a decline in
price for the week after split. $163 sounds about right presplit,
and I will embarrass myself with a prediction of $75 one week after
split ;-)

Good luck to all, I am doing OK with calls before, and will try
puts at split.
