Gosar spokeswoman Jessica Lycos said the Arizona congressman “strongly believes” the election was stolen from Trump, though she added that “we can’t explain how it happened.” Gosar, she said, is convinced that statistical anomalies in Arizona’s election data suggest that hundreds of thousands of ballots had been altered or miscounted. Listen up. Gosar strongly believes the election was stolen but can't explain how it happened. Huh? Huh?

Now, quite quite commonly one may not know how something happened because there is no evidence of the deed. One cannot logically assume that lack of evidence means that it didn't happen.

But if one cannot even figure out how it could have happened, one must assume that it did not happen. There is no reasoned way to get from don't know how it could have happened to strong belief that it happened.

Voter tablulation is a data processing matter, an office process matter, not rocket science, something requiring special expertise. Any guy off the street with half a brain can follow pieces of paper through a process. It's just common sense. Hundreds of thousands of ballots in Arizona don't just drop from the sky or sprout from the desert floor.

Which is why I pressed you for such a long time a couple of years ago wrt your notion that Democrats bused Mexicans to polling places where the officials supposedly just let them vote. You were insistent on the reality of something that was impossible requiring none other than simple common sense.

A few days ago on this thread I mentioned the expression "responsive to reason" as the key to determine which of the Trumpers can reattach to reality. Over these last few years I have pursued with you that tactic of challenging your logical grounding. I have over an over again pointed out the logical flaws in your offerings hoping the shortfall would register. You have not shown yourself to be responsive to reason.

Yet again today I challenged you to support just one of your pronouncements with logic, my intention being that you would either give me an answer that would demonstrate that you are operating rationally or force you to finally recognize that your feet aren't touching the ground. Specifically, I asked you why you were so insistent that there need be a Republican looking over the shoulder of the vote counter while the ballot was still in the envelope. Instead of answering, you focused on justifying your paranoia. You wandered off griping about FISA courts and the Chief Justice and all this horrid stuff that I have been supposedly ignoring. Didn't address the question. Can't or won't, dunno.
