Yes those are expensive lots, and I know you dont like me to bring politics into it. but i get the impression that the affluent are trying to get out of California as opposed to piling in ( larry ellison comes to mind). If you buy into the remote working theme it would argue against being in a high priced locale unless you have to personally network like in the entertainment business. I think given a choice between investing in land and real estate in california or sunbelt states like texas or georgia, or a hot urban market like denver where all the young people want to go.
I would rather be investing there. but then again i cant follow 250 stocks like you can .I can barely follow 50 or so.
