Can you imagine what Christopher Hitchens would have to say about this media? Can you imagine what Christopher Hitchens would have to say about the Trump presidency? I would love to have been able to read his work on it. He would have given me myriad iridescent phrases for my collection of sublime Trump descriptors. He would have been horrified by the uncouth, the unserious, the authoritarian blot on his beloved adopted country. The media have given us a treasure but he would have had fun trying to top them.
