You know Newfoundlanders would love it if QC separated.. the Drive to Toronto would be a lot shorter ;)

Canada was a bad marriage from the get go.. but had QC not joined they would be American now and speaking English like all their cousins in Maine, Vermont, Upstate New York etc.. and the Maritimes.. would easily fit in with the Northeast US.. Honestly as teen skiing in Vermont and New York .. was like home.. moving to Ontario was like a foreign country ...

Canada would be Ontario :)

OTOH.. in 1776 if there was no Quebec.. there would be no Canada like we know it .. It might be Ontario and west.. but I doubt Ontario would not have succumbed .. Much of Ontario not really different than Michigan land or people wise.. Traveling across one's own country for real several times .. and not by message board is highly informative...

QC was the cost of doing business.. otherwise there would be a lot more folks up here appreciative of Mr. Trump.. think about that :)
