Old thinking is more racist than modern thinking. Asia being more closed and older fashion means the majority are more racist.

All groups have racism ... and worse.. Due to European success at imperialism and stealing land in the name of God... their negative exploits have been more well documented.. Africa had slavery before the white invasions.. first nations here also.. China and the east certainly China will need to adapt.. so many Africans learning Mando in Africa as Chinese are doing new style economic imperialism ... benefactors also but not a free lunch to be sure .. China has consequently an influx of Africans.. Will be interesting see how that goes..

Right now in Oakland, attacks on immigrant eastern Asians are epidemic. Daily videos of attacks are viral. Virtually every east Asian immigrant I know is suffering fear and a lot of it is turning into a viceral racial divide. Our city council has politicized it; even so far as to attacking liberal mayor for mentioning the racial overtones. As the carjackings, armed robberies and murders climb, the city council has been defunding our police -- only creating more debt and more police disability rates because of the massive stress and overtime owed. Many victims of the crime are also people of color. They are fearful as well, though not as loud as the politicians who defund. It's not just the shortages of COVID19 vaccines, or the exploding homeless encampments now. We are so fucked here currently. You can google Oakland Chinatown, or related for lots of news related to this.
