Hi Tom and fellow thread members. I am Archie, earlier today I became a new shareholder in Nanometrics. I have been following this stock for a year or two and was never smart enough to buy it when it was in the low single digts. This company had a great run in price last year and has recently pulled back to very oversold levels. This company is now very attractive at this point and I am of the opinion that a strong move past the $12 dollar level is soon to transpire. Tom you spoke of the fact that the stock has not shown much in the way of volume surge.
The stock has been very quiet of late, but like they say and let's hope so that this is the calm before the storm of buying that will take place when the yearly numbers are announced. This is a fine company with a very bright future. One day and soon I hope it will once again become a favorite of the smart and intelligent seekers of quality growth. I love the company's outlook in '98, and the fact that the stock in undervalued by at least 5 to 7 dollars at this point in time makes the story even more compelling. Graet company folks, good luck to us all in '98....Archie
