Only had to drag you over there so you could see what you said. Apparently you forget which bits of nonsense you have spouted. That is you suggesting that nine year old children can advertised as labourers on Craigslist. You qualify that with saying it should be light housework, what lifting less than 15 lbs would be OK? And as long as they say they are not unhappy it is all good, who should ask them, those hiring them?. You sound stupid and idiotic when your remarks are framed that way, don't you agree?Children have rights, society has to enforce those rights when their parents won't. Parents cannot advertise their nine year olds as a source of labour on Craigslist. Even if the nine year old says they are OK with being rented out on Craigslist. None of this may accord with your viewpoints but it is the way the world actually works. And protecting children against parents who would misdirect them is already law. You are allowed to home school your children, but must follow the public curriculum. You cannot raise your children to believe that the earth is flat or that God makes laws. Your right to home school does not include the right to teach bullshit to children. Well you can, as long as they can pass standardized tests showing they know the curriculum. Humans make laws and the law develops as it is needed. Laws against teaching hatred at home will become the norm, just as they are at school. Education has done wonders for weaning the weak and dependent off of ideological fantasies. We cannot stop stupid adults from being stupid, we can prevent them from teaching stupidity, and we do. We can legislate against adults teaching children hatred, and we should.
