Texas would become a foreign country, subject to tariffs, immigration quotas, import/export duties and customs inspections. Citizens of Texas would be issued Texas National passports, and would need a visa to enter the US.

The US would have to treat Texas as a hostile nation, as it would be seceding for the sole purpose of providing a safe haven for disgruntled former US insurrectionists.

Roads would be closed, and border crossing stations set up.

And there would very likely be no objection on anyone's part to a decision to build a big, beautiful wall all along the Texas/US border to keep those disgruntled insurrectionists out.
