George,

The tough part with playing the the foreign index is that it is somewhat like playing the futures. Even though HK is closed, as we go in the SPX it will also go up and vice-versa. HK may dip intraday but its the closing price that counts. There will be profit taking in the foreign market but how much and the MM's really have the premiums set up highly in their favor.

Right now the XAL is one of the weaker indexes, and each time the DOW dips a little the XAL dips relatively more. The options on the XAL were not priced until the INDEX was already around 700-701, and since then it has been coming down and Im just a little shy of breaking even.

Well there should be some profit taking soon, maybe as soon as this afternoon, but more probable that it will happen tomorrow intraday.
