am neither trying to nor intending to stop the political pot

just being informational, re inflation

... supposedly due to supply constraints as opposed to velocity of money

unsure that one can tell the difference at micro level

only that interest rate rise cures inflation of one sort, but not necessarily of all sorts

Inflation has really nothing to do with the quantity of money. We have witnessed a dramatic increase in the quantity of money ever since the European Central Bank moved to negative interest rates in 2014.

Proof that the quantity of Money Theory does not work is simply to look at the Velocity. We have not experienced inflation despite the dramatic increase in the money supply, but instead, deflation has emerged simply because people have been hoarding the money and not spending it. Hence, the velocity has steadily collapsed since 2007, it began to pick up during the Trump years, but then with the pandemic, we can see this has been a nose-dive never before witnessed. Combine this with our political models showing a Panic Cycle in politics in 2022, we are dealing with the real cause of inflation which will be the collapse in confidence in governments worldwide.

Christian Sewing of Deutsche Bank said the economy in Germany can rebound if the government backs-off. He also warned: "It would be foolish to assume that historically low interest rates and historically large economic stimulus programs will not lead to significantly rising consumer prices as soon as the economy picks up again." He also said that Germany should not follow Biden down the rabbit hole. He characterized the European economic stimulus programs are to a large extent investment programs. However, he added: "That's why we shouldn't step on it again, that is, we shouldn't get another huge spending package off the ground like in the USA."

We have warned that this wave of the Economic Confidence Model would be a business cycle of inflation, but one caused not so much by monetary policy, but by shortages. In the United States, there is hardly any major electrical product that you can buy instantly. I myself ordered a new refrigerator in December and it will not be delivered until March. When I asked why? They said the chips come from Thailand and the draconian lockdowns have disrupted not merely production, but also the supply chain.

The most dramatic political struggle offered by history comes from the trial of Pope Formosus (891-896) that took place nine months AFTER his death by the succeeding Pope Stephen VI (or VII)(896-897). Stephen was a family member of Italian aristocrats who Formosus abandoned and crowned Arnulf, the East Frankish king, Holy Roman Emperor. Once Stephen seized the Papacy, he sought to destroy Formosus’ supporters and had the corpse of Formosus redressed in papal vestments and propped up and put on trial. Obviously, he did not defend himself very well. Because of this affair, Stephen was seen as a hateful man whose actions were extreme and thus he quickly fell out of favor was imprisoned himself, and later strangled to death.

The Impeachment Trial of Trump is a serious mistake. The trustworthiness of Congress is already the lowest profession according to Gallup Polls. This trial will undermine confidence and is playing directly into the forecasts of our model. This impeachment trial is really such political vengeance. The Democrats are simply trying to ban Trump from ever running again but the refusal of Chief Justice to preside because Trump is not the president only opens the door to a Supreme Court challenge of any conviction. Worse still, while the Democrats are told to vote in a block, McConnel has told the Republicans to vote their conscience.

Then the lawyer to defend Trump just argued gibberish. I could have stood up and put together a far better argument on the cuff with no preparation. How could it be so incoherent? To me, this also seems to be part of the conspiracy to ban Trump from running because both sides never like him as an outsider. The swamp must be protected at all costs. This entire fiasco seems to be orchestrated to ban Trump from holding office which a criminal prosecution would not do, and McConnel is part of the entire scam.

The polls show that 70% of Republicans would follow Trump to a third party. That is demonstrating just how confidence is collapsing in the government and this is the missing ingredient to ignite inflation. Biden's dictatorial orders are insane. Shutting down energy will only result in higher prices, but our models have also been correct as each winter has been getting colder - not warmer. Cutting off Pipeline #5 has many people in Alberta cheering for it will result in Ontario and Michigan freezing and then the fuel would have been delivered by train and prices will rise sharply. That will all come back to impact the elections in 2022 in the States as well as Trudeau in Canada.

Any challenge to the Supreme Court since the Democrats are claiming that Trump incited insurrection by claiming the election was a fraud, means that he would be also able to get that issue before the Supreme Court when all other courts have protected the swamp and refused to rule one way or the other.

The pieces are starting to come together for the inflation puzzle that seems to have everyone baffled, including the central bankers. Inflation soared into 1980 because confidence in Jimmy Carter collapsed. Nice guy, but he screwed everything up. Previously, every agency had to testify what their budget for the next year needed to be. Carter put it on automatic pilot tied to CP!. So when inflation rose to 20%, the agencies automatically got an increase in their budget. If they did not spend the money, it would be cut. There are warehouses full of computers from the 1980s they bought but did not need, just to spend the money. They are still there in storage in a scene out of Raider of the Lost Ark.

I am not surprised.. the mutation is in method of attachment with B117... if method of attachment mutates too much it fails to attach ... I think vaccines will still be valid despite these mutations... pointed that out here
