For Anne of the Thousand Days, no black actress could come close to replacing her. Geneviève Bujold is a Canadian actress. She is best known for her portrayal of Anne Boleyn in the film Anne of the Thousand Days (1969), for which she won a Golden Globe Award and received an Academy Award ... As I saw her in historical work, or Michael Crichton's films, I never thought of her as Canadian (or knew she was). She lived the roles.
