Ed - one strategy that worked with NWT in the past is to buy up a bit of everything. I know a fellow who did that and made money on em all.
This could be the month for the Alberta diamond hunt to take off a bit, with most companies wanting to get hold of somehthing that they can "show and tell" at the PDAC in early March. What I think could happen here is a steady flow of info from many companies as to what they think they have in terms of targets, field work, plans to or actually drilling, kimberlite or not, perhaps even diamondiferous or not.

Can't wait to quiz the Ashton fellows again at the PDAC. I suspected something was up last year, as Ashton had a team of about 12 guys there, all smiling from ear to ear.
