Mike, no one gave a good reason why PTEC should be included in the contest so I don't think it is. I was worthy to enter the contest but I didn't want to risk the chance that I might be wrong for a whole year again. It's embarrassing when out of thousands of stocks you pick one that can't even beat money market funds. Besides I don't live close enough to a public high tech company to be able to count the cars on Saturday. FWIW, I like Mark Brophy's VLSI pick. Even after getting a recent analyst downgrade and having the company warn of a bad first quarter, the stock hasn't dropped any lower. That alone should scare most bears away at some point.
