TJ you are always right looking in the back mirror
IMHO all asset classes went into self-feeding price appreciation without any economic justification due to the very low or better said negative real interest rates.
Those well connected with substantial capital get fabulously richer at a time that those that lost their job due to COVID 19 do not receive the proper assistance not to mention those families which members got sick.
Socially extremely disturbing development which will end up very badly
The Capitol raid and HK or the Israel against a its PM demonstrations are only the sprouts of what will come
My guess is that as "free markets" are rigged capitalism run its course, similar to Marxism which many confuse it with Lenin, Stalin or Mao brand of communism
modern democracy is also bankrupt as elected officials are elected mostly not on ideology but on their ability to raise money in return of favors after their election

The result - is reflected in the markets which can all manipulated by paper money
