They did this by shorting paper and then stopping out counterparties as contracts expired forcing delivery without affecting price. This has been going on since the Fed-arranged shotgun wedding whereby JPM inherited Bear Stearns’ huge paper silver short. I trust Dimon about as much as I would Al Capone. We will only know the system has been redeemed from endemic corruption when like Capone Jamie winds up behind bars. Not holding my breath….
