I’ve dealt with an unnamed bank that tried to hire me to create an ETP for a market they tried to manipulate/control nine months later. Also, just read the language inserted into the prospectus. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s stock language that iShares is inserting into all of their prospectuses in the aftermath of GameStop (much as everyone revised their Brexit language two years ago and their act of god / pandemic language 11 months ago). I don’t doubt there’s shadiness in the PM markets. They were “fixing” the fix for ages, but these trusts are well designed to be relatively benign eaters of stock and sources of supply when the physical demand price exceeds the share price. That doesn’t mean there can’t be manipulation of the shares. On Sun, Feb 14, 2021 at 9:02 PM W wrote: Thanks G. I take no solace in JPM’s legal constraints. JPM has already paid billions for manipulating every market in which it trades. Why would SLV be an exception? Bankster Crime Boss Dimon told shareholders at the AGM the huge fines were simply a cost of doing profitable business. According to researcher Ted Butler JPM has amassed an enormous physical silver stash. They did this by shorting paper and then stopping out counterparties as contracts expired forcing delivery without affecting price. This has been going on since the Fed-arranged shotgun wedding whereby JPM inherited Bear Stearns’ huge paper silver short. I trust Dimon about as much as I would Al Capone. We will only know the system has been redeemed from endemic corruption when like Capone Jamie winds up behind bars. Not holding my breath….
