On a relative performance basis CPQ sure had a bad day today considering what the market did... There are always sellers available..Now it will not be viewed as such a 'growth' company anymore. Not sure how big the DEC anchor is but it had/has problems similar to IBM's a few years ago..I didn't buy CPQ to own DEC..If I wanted DEC I'd own it..MAybe thats where the sellers are coming from.. exchanging for DELL, a purer play. I think a different investor will want to own CPQ vs the ones that HAVE owned CPQ..Maybe that exchange is what is going on.. Just crying out loud<G>.
Dick.

Good looking site, Chan! Nice work.

We arrived at a similar conclusion on CPQ with different methods: I looked at RSI(11) and saw higher lows and higher highs. That's usually a good indication of change. My buy signal was on 1/2/98, but the confirmation from the higher low of RSI didn't happen 'till 1/12. XTL isn't showing a buy yet, nor has the weekly RSI or XTL.

I have NO problem with fundamental screening criteria and use it myself. I consider it an "unfair advantage"! :-)
