True, but the gist I get from one of the Yahoo! sites I found is that they do consider stocks "savings". Whatever. I guess we are a nation of spendthrifts. Of course, spending money does create a trickle effect I guess. Also, the economy is stronger than most others so who is to say it is necessarily a bad thing. but Frankly, I don't give a damn one way or the other. I am still trying to guess whether I should be long here, short or take the day off.
