The city of Los Angeles owns our own reliable DWP utility which generates and delivers the power and water we require them to provide, in conjunction with the related Metropolitan Water District of Southern California. You're free to choose to receive your essential services from alternate ideologies, but you may not find them as satisfactory. . My Mom received her two Pfizer vaccinations from a local hospital and I received mine from the LA Fire Department at Dodger Stadium, which shared their own Carbon Health / CalFire healthcare network infrastructure with Californians. Meanwhile, CVS and Walgreens which signed contracts last year with the Trump administration to provide covid vaccinations to assisted living facility residents, no later than the end of January two weeks ago, still have no reasonable idea when they'll be able to reach my Mom's assisted care facility. Mom's already vaccinated, no longer in assisted care, and CVS still has no idea when they'll be able to deliver the vaccine doses in their cold storage facility. The State of California is now taking these vaccine doses away from these witless and understaffed free market providers to give to those like CalFire who are actually vaccinating those in nursing homes. Free-Markity makes for bullshit healthcare, just as it fails as a utility or other business.
