Hi UE,

Whenever we get a nice fresh snowfall Jan and I have a snowshoe trail along a section of the Wisconsin Glacial Ice Trail:

It's the nicest when it is still snowing and our tracks are the only ones.

Our closest section is just 4 miles down the road. An out and back walk is just under two miles. Artesian springs stay open all winter. Having two walking sticks provides good stability and the snow shoes are wide and supportive.

It's a good way to enjoy an aerobic workout while taking in some beautiful sites and at pleasurable pace.

Stay warm UE and your strength will slowly return.

Bob

Hi UE.

Have you considered getting a backpack chair to carry until you need to rest?

amzn.to

My brother gave me one like this amzn.to years ago that I put on my back, carry another chair (link below) in one hand and hold one handle of the ice chest with my GF holding the other handle when we go to concerts in the park and want to bring food and drink.

I keep the more portable version like this amzn.to that folds up tighter in my van for use when waiting for wind to windsurf. Some are not very stable but might work if you just want rest.

Costco usually has great Spring sales for these that beat Amazon...

Glad you are getting better!

Kirk
