No Christine, I'm saying that most all people have had some moment of thinking "immoral" thoughts, or written a love poem, or picked up a magazine out of curiosity, or some family hidden secret. Could this broad and accusative definition "catch" most members of Congress or the Senate.. of course it could.

This comment is towards a larger debate than the President's issue with his backroom meanderings (if it proves true). It doesn't take much, as evidenced by the McCarthy hearings, to find communists under every bed. We'd find accusations of incest, marital infidelity, looking too long at someone, being accused of immoral thoughts and deeds being used as political weapons.

Or maybe that's where we really want to go with politics... only putting up the most squeaky clean, never a blemmish, candidates for high office?
