LOL!! Next thing I looked at was also from Glenn Peterson... Thanks again, Glenn

How buying and selling a home could soon be as simple as trading stocks

Worth me noting this one... as I've been working on developing a couple of related concepts myself for a while... as others are starting to address the issues with 'an awareness"... if not having fully reduced it to actionable ideas...

A follow up on the Phoenix Wellspring opportunity... the sequel... Molycorp II... ticker MP

Popped up only recently... came out Nov 18, at $15... now at $45. Probably worth having lept on in November, it you were paying attention... and, on a really bad day, week, or month in the market... worth keeping an eye on it... Still not me being convinced... given the history.

Is new management being led by an experienced mining executive, or do we get another suit being pushed forward by the financial crowd... mining something other than rocks ?

You decide:
$FVAC MP Materials James Litinsky, Founder & CEO: SPAC Deal, Rare Earth Minerals | SPACs Attack

"We've already got the $2 billion in capital required"... and the rest of it only more depressing...

Is the focus on the money over the rocks going to run this into the ground... again ?

These guys have a totally flat learning curve...

I hope I'm wrong...

MP for REE exposure ? Is it different this time ?

Might it actually be possible in this instance ?

Analysts Are Optimistic We'll See A Profit From MP Materials Corp. (NYSE:MP)

But, note, at a market cap of $6.4 billion...$7.4 billion now... this is not the same sort of upside story Molycorp was in the last REE cycle... the projected $40 million profit small relative to the capital. The link to the EV market growth potential might be more relevant now than in the past... but it appears a lot of that upside is already priced into MP already... like others in the space its done a 4X since last summer... the link noting risks inherent in the potential for under-performance if profits don't grow from here... under-performance and over-estimation having been proven a stock in trade for promoters of this hole in the ground before...

Shoulda bought it last summer ? Sure... if your picks back then haven't outperformed it... which still isn't a reason to consider buying it now ?

Leaves MP still something of a leap in expectations for sustained profitability, and even more of a LEAP in an options trade on China's future plans for meeting global demand with adequate REE supplies ?

Billionaire Lee Cooperman’s Top 10 Stock Picks

Puts it #6 on his list... with a >5% commitment... but, the billionaires got it all wrong last time, when I got it exactly right ? The debt better under control now at under $100 million... assume the management this time are kept on a tighter leash than last times flagrant NYSE-enabled PnD ? I'd still much rather see a seasoned mining company management running a mining company than a Wall Street Suit collection...

As I don't see anything remotely interesting in the options chain on MP... keep it as a mental note for its optionality in relation to the direction of trends in global trade... Otherwise, dig a bit deeper and see what others offer... in exploration and development pipelines that have better grades in HREE's than Mountain Pass has to offer... and wait to see evidence that MP has a strategy that can actually work in balance with trends in demand... without the throw money at everything including the kitchen sink approach last cycle.
