i sure hope Datek keeps the old servers around and available indefinitely because after viewing and using the new site during the day i am thoroughly unimpressed with how quotes are displayed as well as the speed with which they're displayed

the KISS approach is best - the new quote displays are too cute and busy. forget the fancy screens colors and widgets displayed along with the quotes - give me a nice tabular format any day of the year as found on the old servers. i'd prefer to see Datek allocating it's computational bandwidth to quickly retrieving quotes rather than spewing out reams of html/javascript to draw pretty pictures - traders are here to trade not to be distracted by pretty but utterly worthless graphics.

at least Datek had enough sense to leave well enough alone by allowing the old servers to survive - thank you Datek

anychance we will ever be able to see bid/ask sizes on NASDAQ/NYSE/AMEX quotes ? certainly more useful than displaying the rather obvious information associated with a stock's marginability

also i like the idea of using Bid prices to valuate portfolios - howabout transferring that accounting methodolgy to the old servers as well ?
